On the move again....

Seems like only yesterday I was searching the classifieds and the online real estate sites for a new apartment. Then the packing, the purging, the trips to Good Will, Salvation Army, and the giant dumpster. Finally, packing all the stuff I decided I just couldn't live without. Renting the truck.....but, no, it wasn't yesterday. It was about 18 months ago.
But now, here I am again doing all that same once more. Moving time. It's both annoying and cleansing; frustrating and liberating.
The landlady has decided to sell the condo we've been renting and my housemate and I must find new digs.
I think we've managed to manifest the perfect little place. Luckily, not that little, cuz we have a lot of crap, but so charming and right in our price range. A real estate agent friend found the place and we're in the process of making an offer for rent and going through the approval proceedings. I have a very positive feeling about it and I'm just sure we're in. I have no doubt that we'll be moving in mid January and will be settled in with an 18 month lease. I'm also sure that this will be the place to be for some years to come. I'm a long-term renter and don't want to hop from place to place. I know this place will be a solid home for some time to come. Perfect in all facets.
Although I'm not relishing the moving process, I'm excited for a fresh new home base and the opportunity to not only get rid of some of the crap I no longer feel attached to, but also to meeting the new neighbors, checking out the new 'hood, and to settling in to a new space.

Congratulations. It was great to get the little ding saying you had posted as it is always good to hear from you Dear Heart.
I've been in the same place since '95 and am in the process of clearing stuff out and preparing to start selling books and stuff in the new year as I'm intending to retire to be my sacred service full time in late Spring and then move to West.
I appreciate you holding this in such a positive Light for you.
