What would he say if I told him I thought I could fall in love with him?
Would he be silent like the river?
That which grows with unseen sun
and blooms within a flower that can only be felt.
I feel the warmth of his sun from so far away.
The breath of his presense within my soul.
His gentle way pulling me in.
The calm, stillness of his heart setting my mind at ease.
He knows not,
like the river knows not the bank.
What would the bank say to the river?
Stop? Stay?
What would he say if I told him I loved him as the bank loves the river?
